Business Coaching
Business Coach for Growing Companies in Dallas/DFW
Are you leading a small but growing business in Dallas? Facing team structure issues or people problems as you scale? I provide business coaching specifically designed for companies with 2-20 employees in creative industries, tech, and marketing.
Building Around What You’re Already Great At
Most successful businesses begin with a founder who has built something exceptional.
That might be a service, a product, or a unique way of doing things, but it’s the thing that delivers real value to clients.
That core offering is often where the founder is strongest. It’s where the insight, expertise, and differentiation live. But as the business grows, the founder’s role starts to shift.
You’re pulled away from the work you love; client conversations, product refinement, service delivery, and drawn into everything else: logistics, team issues, internal structures, hiring, goal setting, management, culture, growth planning.
These operational layers must be strong if the business is going to scale.
And that’s the tension. The better your product or service becomes, the more demand you create, and the more your time is absorbed by the very things that pull you away from what made the business great in the first place.
My role as a coach is to help you build the business around that core thing you’re great at, so you can spend more time doing the work that matters, while the rest of the machine starts to function with more clarity, purpose, and strength.
That includes helping you:
- Structure your team
- Define your core business functions and spot the gaps
- Build a culture of collaborative success
- Set goals that make sense for where you are and where you want to go
- Improve your hiring & build a team that takes you to the next level
- Build internal systems that don’t rely on you to push every button
This isn’t about handing you a pre-built framework. It’s about working together to build a business that fits the thing you’ve built, and the way you want to lead.

Make Real Progress on the Things That Actually Matter
Coaching is about getting clarity, and then doing the work.
If you’re ready to move forward, we’ll figure out the smartest next steps together.

What Is Business Coaching?

My business coaching services work as a structured, goal-oriented partnership that helps you make smarter decisions, solve business problems, and build a company that can grow without burning you out.
That means solving real business problems, not just building motivation.
I work with business owners who want more than surface-level advice. They’re looking for structure, accountability, and clear, confident decision-making.
Some small business coaching programs rely on handing out pre-made business growth solutions. I believe that every business has unique issues, so coaching must be personalized.
Whether you’re stuck in the day-to-day or facing a specific challenge, my business leadership coaching creates the space to think clearly, act decisively, and move forward with a strategic partner in your corner.
Who Business Coaching Is For

Coaching works best when it’s a fit for where you are in your business.
And there are lots of coaches out there who will convince you that they are the perfect fit.
I am very selective of who I work with – because I know where I am most effective, and the profile of the person I can help.
If you see yourself in any of the descriptors below, there’s a good chance this kind of business coaching will help you make progress.
My business coaching is built for:
- Businesses that already have a success product or service
- Entrepreneurs growing beyond founder-led hustle
- Small business owners who are hitting a ceiling and are unsure how to scale
- Founders who are experiencing people problems as they grow
- Leaders who are managing teams but feel stuck in the weeds
- Solo founders looking for clarity, structure, and sound strategic thinking
- Entrepreneurs who want to empower their team to help with growth
You don’t have to arrive with a clearly defined problem. Often, the real issues reveal themselves once we start asking better questions and stepping back from the day-to-day.
I take pride in offering business coaching for women and leaders from underrepresented backgrounds who are building successful businesses without always seeing themselves reflected in traditional leadership models. My approach is collaborative, non-performative, and designed to support the way you lead, whether or not you’ve had access to traditional resources, networks, or support.
What Business Coaching Helps You Achieve

This is focused, outcome-driven support.
Business coaching can help you:
- Make critical decisions with clarity and confidence
- Build a stronger, more accountable leadership team
- Structure your schedule to balance strategic work with the day to day
- Develop a roadmap for sustainable growth
- Improve hiring, delegation, and performance management
- Reduce overwhelm by building systems that scale
These are not one-size-fits-all outcomes. Every tailored coaching engagement is built around your goals, context, and stage of business.
My Strategic Coaching Approach
My coaching is rooted in business strategy, but not in a vacuum.
It’s shaped by the day-to-day reality of leading a small or growing team, wearing multiple hats, and feeling the pressure to make the right decisions quickly. We focus on what’s actually happening in your business right now and build from there.
Whether you’re stuck on a hiring decision, unsure how to structure a team, or dealing with unclear priorities, we’ll work through it in a way that fits your leadership style and your business.
Here’s how we work.
1. Initial Strategy Session
We start with a practical deep dive into your business.
We’ll look at what’s working, what’s not, and where your time and energy are going. This business assessment session helps us find the pressure points quickly, so we’re not guessing.
From there, we set clear focus areas that will guide our work together going forward.
We map the critical issues that need attention and set the groundwork for everything that follows.
2. Goal Mapping
Once we understand your challenges, we start defining the outcomes that matter most to you.
That could be freeing up your time, financial growth, restructuring your team, or creating streamlined operations and internal processes to make things run smoother.
We’ll define goals to guide our work, but we’ll keep them flexible so they stay useful as your business evolves. We map the most impactful objectives and break them down into manageable milestones, so your progress isn’t left to chance.
3. Regular coaching sessions
After the initial strategy work, we set a regular cadence for coaching sessions that fits your pace and goals.
That might be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, depending on what’s most effective for your context.
These sessions focus on the work we’ve agreed matters most. I’ll introduce tools, training, and relevant frameworks as needed.
When it’s useful, we can bring your wider team into the process to build alignment and momentum.
4. Accountability Support
We stay connected between sessions.
That might mean reviewing a hiring plan, helping you prep for a key conversation, or nudging you to revisit something we agreed was important.
This is really about making sure the work we do together doesn’t sit in a notebook. It needs to turn into progress, so between sessions, I help you stay on track with what matters most.
You shouldn’t feel that anything urgent needs to wait until our next session, so I’m always on hand to connect and work on something offline between our scheduled sessions.
5. Ongoing Adjustments
As you make progress and your business changes, we adjust the coaching to match.
New challenges will come up. Priorities will shift. People might leave or join your team.
We won’t stick to a rigid path. The coaching evolves so it stays relevant to what you’re facing week-to-week and month-to-month.
Growth isn’t linear, and your plan shouldn’t be either.
The coaching evolves with you. We’ll revisit priorities, update goals, and course-correct when needed, so the support always meets the moment you’re in.
Build a Business That Supports What You’re Great At
If you’re being pulled away from the work that matters, let’s get your business back into alignment – strategically, structurally, and sustainably.

Why Work With Me
I’ve spent 25+ years running businesses, hiring teams, building strategy, and fixing the things that break as companies grow.
I didn’t come from the world of management consulting. I started my first business at 20, with nothing more than a skill I could sell and a willingness to figure things out as I went. I had no idea how to create an organizational structure. I didn’t know how to hire. I didn’t know what a good team looked like – or how to build one. I had to learn all of it the hard way.
That experience is what shapes the coaching skills I use today. I don’t bring borrowed frameworks. I bring real-world experience: the hard decisions, the mistakes, the wins that came after years of trial and error. I’ve worked through the mess of growth, and I help founders like you navigate it with less stress and more clarity.
Every business is different. Every founder leads differently. So I coach in a way that fits you, unlike other, more rigid business coaching courses. We’ll work together to find the coaching models to help you build confidence in your strengths, your style, and the way you want to run your business.
I speak plainly, focus on what matters, and help you achieve success as you continue to build a sustainable business. Everything we work on is grounded, human, and built to actually move you closer to your vision.

FAQs About Business Coaching
What’s the difference between coaching and consulting?
Business coaching is a collaborative, exploratory process that helps you clarify your thinking, uncover blind spots, and strengthen your leadership.
It’s not about delivering a fixed playbook. Consulting often involves assessing a situation and recommending a solution. I do both, but the coaching creates the foundation. We build clarity first, then design smart, relevant action together.
Do you offer one-off business coaching sessions?
I typically work with clients over a period of months – and often years – because meaningful change takes time.
That said, I do offer focused, one-off strategy intensives when there’s a specific challenge to work through, like planning a restructure, preparing for a major hire, or developing a team accountability structure.
I also offer group Strategy Workshop Facilitation, which leaders use to bring the focus of their team to a specific problem or opportunity.
What industries do you work in?
Most of my clients are in creative, design, marketing, and digital industries, but I’ve also worked with founders in education, professional services, tech, healthcare, publishing, and with non-profits too.
The common thread isn’t the industry, it’s the stage of growth and problems being faced, along with the fact that they’ve built something valuable and now need to scale it properly.
How long do clients usually work with you?
Most engagements last 6–36 months. Some clients work with me through a specific transition period, while others continue long-term as their needs evolve.
We review progress regularly to make sure the coaching stays relevant and useful.
If I do my job correctly, there should come a point where you outgrow my services and expertise.
Can this help me even if I’m not sure what’s wrong?
Yes. In fact, that’s often the best place to start.
If you know something isn’t working, but you can’t quite label or name it, coaching can help you step back, make sense of what’s going on, and identify the levers that will make the biggest difference.
In many situations, the issue you come to me with in the first place ends up being a symptom of a more foundational root issue, which we’ll identify and work through.
Is this coaching about mindset or performance?
Both, but always through the lens of your business.
We’ll absolutely talk about mindset if it’s getting in your way, but this isn’t life coaching disguised as strategy.
Everything we discuss is anchored in your business goals and operational reality, helping enhance leadership skills and improve efficiency wherever it’s needed in your business.
